LARP (Live Action Role-Playing) is an interactive storytelling experience where participants physically portray characters in a fictional setting. Players act out their roles through dialogue, actions, and physical movement. Think of it as a combination of theatre, storytelling, and gameplay, where players engage with plot lines and develop them into stories unique to them.

Yes, safety is a top priority at our events. We have rules in place to ensure that combat, movement, and interactions are done in a controlled and safe manner. All weapons used are made from safe materials, and any physical contact follows strict guidelines. Events themselves are preceded by workshops that explain the mechanics and tools available to ensure safety throughout the game. Emotional and mental safety is also considered during these events. While the world and actions are fictional, the emotions and connections felt are real. Any issues that may arise are welcome to be discussed with the organising team and further suggestions on improvements are encouraged to be sent on our email.

No prior knowledge of any content is needed to enjoy the game, nor do you need any specific skills or experience. We welcome new players and will provide as much guidance as possible to help you get started. 

We encourage players to bring their own costumes and props to enhance the immersive experience, but you don’t need to spend a fortune. Basic costumes can be as simple as medieval or fantasy-inspired clothing. We recommend sturdy, comfortable shoes (hiking boots are a great fit as they are normally dull and dark colours) and pockets or pouches to carry your things.

LARPs are meant to be enjoyed by all ages, however our events are limited to being 18+ due to the themes, language and legal consent.

We continue to run events in most weather conditions, as long as safety is not compromised. Our event locations often have indoor or sheltered areas for bad weather. Always check the weather forecast and come prepared with appropriate clothing. If severe weather requires postponing or cancelling, we’ll notify all participants ahead of time.

Event tickets cover access to the LARP event, including game materials and story guides. Overnight events may include accommodations and meals, which will be detailed in the event description.
